Principal AI Engineer → Software Development Manager
Engineering leader transitioning into management at Oracle NetSuite AI. Building and leading AI teams that deliver practical, scalable solutions for real-world business.
About
I'm a Principal AI Engineer and Team Lead at Oracle NetSuite AI, based in Brno, Czechia — and I'm actively transitioning into a Software Development Manager role. My focus is growing from hands-on technical leadership toward building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
I'm currently pursuing an MBA (Brno University of Technology & University of St. Francis), with coursework focused on business management, organizational leadership, and strategy — skills I'm applying directly as I take on broader people and product responsibility at Oracle NetSuite.
My technical foundation spans formal software verification research at VeriFIT (FIT BUT), an internship at Amazon Web Services in the Kernel & OS Security team, six years of e-commerce engineering at PeckaDesign, and applied AI engineering at Oracle NetSuite AI — where I've spent the last two years building practical, scalable AI solutions and leading teams delivering them. Alongside this, I've been deepening my understanding of AI through university studies over the past several years. I believe the best engineering managers are those who deeply understand both the craft and the people behind it.
